Punta Cana.- Air Europa will increase its weekly flights to Punta Cana to five next summer, despite ongoing fleet challenges that have forced reliance on third-party airlines such as Iberojet, Wamos Air, Plus Ultra, and Privilege. The airline remains optimistic about resolving these issues by summer as it seeks an industrial partner for financial support.

Beyond Punta Cana, Air Europa is also expanding long-haul routes, increasing flights to Cancún, Córdoba, and Salvador de Bahía. The airline anticipates fleet improvements with the addition of three Boeing 787 Dreamliners and the reactivation of grounded aircraft affected by Rolls-Royce engine issues.
