Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina will travel Monday morning on an official visit to Jamaica, with a broad agenda within the Conference on Employment and Inclusive Growth: Partnerships for Sustainable Tourism.

He will be accompanied by a delegation of several cabinet ministers.

Medina’s visit aims to bolster Dominican Republic-Jamaica ties. He is slated to hold a bilateral meeting with Prime minister, Andrew Holness in Kingston.

He will be the main speaker at the Conference hosted by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the Government of Jamaica and the World Bank Group, Nov. 27 to 29, in Montego Bay.

Medina’s visit results from an agreement with Holness, reached last May.
