When you think of Punta Cana, a vacation destination in the Dominican Republic, you might picture shot-taking Americans getting turnt and burnt at an all-inclusive resort.
But The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club, located inside the 26-mile-long Puntacana Resort & Club on the island's eastern shore, is just the opposite: It's a serene spot with lots of sandy oceanfront, plenty of (a la carte) bars and bites, and multiple pools that stay open all night long. Enjoy a day of paddleboarding, relaxing in the spa, playing golf or tennis, or lagoon-hopping in the "Ojos Indígenas" Ecological Reserve, and cap it all off with a late-night swim.
