Higüey, La Altagracia.- The Association of Real Estate Developers of La Otra Banda, Higüey, has signed an agreement with an international investment fund managing over US$1,000 million to finance clients unable to secure loans through the Dominican financial system. The initiative aims to accelerate regional development and expand homeownership opportunities.
Association president Ismael Rubio highlighted additional agreements with the local council, including support for constructing a tourist boulevard in La Otra Banda. His company, Inversiones Huacachina, has already invested US$33 million in real estate projects in the Dominican Republic, creating 160 direct and 640 indirect jobs. Their vision is to transform La Otra Banda into a new tourism hub for Punta Cana.
As part of its social impact, the group will donate an 800-square-meter plot for a new fire station. Rubio emphasized their commitment to high-quality, well-planned developments that offer residents not just homes but a better quality of life with modern amenities and services.
