Santo Domingo.- Edward de Valle, CEO of Grupo De Valle, announced an agreement with Banreservas to develop the Days Inn Juan Dolio by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. The 114-room hotel, operated by Ophdom, will be located just 45 minutes from Santo Domingo, marking the first American-branded hotel in Juan Dolio, San Pedro de MacorÃs.
De Valle expressed gratitude to Banreservas for their support in advancing tourism in the Dominican Republic, aligning with the company’s Vision-2030 strategy to establish hotels near key microeconomic centers. He also thanked Louis Alicea of Wyndham for his role in realizing the project.
Targeting budget-conscious travelers from the Dominican Republic, the U.S., and Canada, the hotel will offer an estimated nightly rate of $80. With all necessary permits secured, construction is set to begin, further boosting tourism and economic development in the region.
