Puerto Plata’s participation in the ANATO 2025 Tourism Showcase achieved significant progress in consolidating strategic agreements with the main players in the Colombian market.
During the event, progress was made in negotiations with leading wholesalers for a punctual and exclusive operation to Puerto Plata, thus strengthening connectivity and expanding travel options to the north coast of the Dominican Republic.
In addition, market proposals were defined, with a priority focus on digital marketing strategies, and agreements were closed with wholesalers currently operating in the Dominican Republic to increase combined visits between Puerto Plata and Santiago.
Likewise, strategic meetings were held with independent travel agencies, and alliances were established with digital media that will soon visit the area, according to a statement, contributing to the promotion and positioning of the destination in the Colombian market.
With these achievements, Puerto Plata continues to strengthen its position in the Latin American market. It projects significant growth in tourist arrivals and consolidates itself as a destination with a diverse and authentic tourist offer.
