Santiago de los Caballeros, DR.- The Mayor’s Office of Santiago celebrated a significant milestone as it welcomed the 100,000th visitor to its Enchanted Forest and Christmas decorations at the Municipal Palace. Mayor Ulises RodrÃguez expressed his pride in the achievement, noting the event’s success in attracting families from Santiago and across the country to experience the magic of Christmas.
RodrÃguez highlighted the efforts made by his administration to create this festive space, from restoring the Municipal Palace to transforming it into a holiday attraction. He emphasized that the joy seen on the faces of visitors confirmed the initiative’s success in bringing happiness to the community.
Since its opening on November 27, the Enchanted Forest has become a hub of holiday celebrations, with daily visitors enjoying vibrant decorations and weekend performances, including music, magic shows, and theater. The transformed Municipal Palace continues to serve as a central gathering point, fostering unity and festive cheer among locals and tourists alike.
