After many months of preparation and eight long days, the protagonists of this expedition, undertook this challenge that for many is impossible. Nevertheless, this team came together for various important reasons: to create awareness about the importance of taking care of the environment, to face this journey demonstrating the high level of physical performance (because they aren’t professional athletes), to discover and show the beauty of this journey and last but not least, to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood.
111 Kilometer were traveled by 3 great professionals, coming from 3 different countries; Colombia, Venezuela and Iran, who came together for this extraordinary experience that was made known through various blog posts, that had the sole purpose of informing people about this amazing adventure.
But who exactly are we talking about? Who were the people that formed part of this expedition?, Jose Francisco Arata, Founder and Executive President and Director of Pangea Energy and New Syratus Energy. He has 34 years of experience in exploration, development and production of minerals and hydrocarbons projects. Abbas Jaffarian, is the Founder and Directions of Operations of Black Pearl Capital. An Investment and asset management company with its headquarters in Switzerland, and over 25 years of experience in the field of Finance, and last but not least, Pablo Montejo, a rock and high mountain climber, he was Director of Photography and Documentarist in the Colombian expeditions and currently works for Discovery.
The emotion and euphoria is indescribable to have achieved such an accomplishment. They describe it as inexpressible, and thank everyone that collaborated and gave details about this great trip in order to make this triumph possible.
"I only have feelings of gratitude to God for giving us health and strength, to my expedition partners Abbas and Juan Pablo, who lived up to this enormous challenge, to my family. We demonstrated together with our guide Seba, that working in coordination as a team one can reach the end of the world.& As well as Nidia and Carlos with whom we exchanged daily logbooks and served as a liaison center and dissemination of what happened with the expedition "highlighted José Francisco Arata.
He also highlighted the work of Juan Pablo who despite the extreme cold conditions collected unique images of this journey, but above all sent an extraordinary message "For young people today is that they shouldn’t stop dreaming and set goals and objectives that however unattainable they may seem, they can always be achieved, "Arata said.
