Santo Domingo.- Trvellers, through its division Trvellers DI, is making waves in the cultural and tourism sectors with the launch of the Dominican Republic’s first large-scale augmented reality (AR) experience. This innovative project, showcased at the 2024 International Book Fair, is transforming how visitors interact with the country’s cultural landmarks.

From November 7th to 17th, attendees of the book fair have been invited to experience three interactive AR installations designed by creators Esteban Aquino and Cristina Rosario. By simply using their smartphones or tablets, visitors can delve into immersive digital experiences projected onto the facades of iconic buildings such as the National Theater, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Pavilion of Imagination.

Trvellers has provided on-site support to ensure that everyone can easily access and enjoy these groundbreaking AR experiences. By combining the physical world with digital elements, Trvellers aims to not only entertain but also educate the public about the potential of emerging technologies in tourism and culture.
